The fine root production in Alaska 2014 September

Carbon cycling in a black spruce stands was estimated in Caribou-Poker Creek Watershed, Interior Alaska. Carbon dymanics monitoring sites were settled along the northeast-facing slope. Three sites, upper middle and lower position on the slope, were intensively surveyed. Littefoall and fine root production varied much site to site. Both litterfall and fine root production were larger in upper slope site. Lower position site showed one forth amount of upper slope site for both litterfall and fine root production.本研究对阿拉斯加内陆地区卡里布-波克尔溪流域（Caribou-Poker Creek Watershed）内的黑云杉林（black spruce stands）的碳循环（carbon cycling）状况进行了估算。研究沿东北向坡位布设了碳动态（carbon dynamics）监测样地，并针对该坡位的上坡、中坡与下坡三个样地开展了密集调查。凋落物产量（litterfall）与细根生产量（fine root production）在不同样地间差异显著，其中上坡样地的两项指标均为最高，而下坡样地的凋落物产量与细根生产量仅为上坡样地的四分之一。
