Processed ship-based Multibeam Sonar Data (version 2) acquired in the Atlantic Ocean during the Knorr expedition KN179-02 (2004)

This data set was acquired with a ship-based SeaBeam 2112 Multibeam Sonar system during Knorr expedition KN179-02 conducted in 2004 (Chief Scientist: Dr. Barrie Walden). These data files are of MBSystem format and include Sidescan, Acoustic Backscatter, and Swath Bathymetry data and were processed by the GMRT Team using the open source MB-System multibeam sonar processing software as part of the GMRT Synthesis effort. These data are included in the GMRT Synthesis, version 2.0.
