F: Shextreme 4: Launch of Shextreme Alliance

This project identifies and investigates a film festival as a participatory action research method and framework for researchers seeking impact. <br><br>Research is centred on the case study <i>Shextreme Film Festival</i>: the world’s first film festival celebrating women in extreme sports and adventure.<br>This item contains audio-visual documentation of the fourth Shextreme Film Festival, a digital copy of the festival's printed programme magazine and the promo video launching Shextreme Alliance, which was launched at Shextreme Film Festival 2018. <br>This item also contains a sample of learning resources available for Shextreme Alliance members to support them in making adventure films and photography. <br>This item also contains video documentation and feedback from a tutor and participant about Shextreme Alliance's Adventure Photography Workshop in Chamonix. <br>Graphic Design programme Credit: Hattie Scott<br>Learning Resource Credit: Ruth Farrar<br>Film Credits: Dr Ruth Farrar and Nic Kane.<br>Used with permission. <br><br>
