The ρcancer/norm column holds the Spearman rank correlation between normal tissue-specific gene weights (the log fold-change of the mean expression in the normal tissue to the mean in all normal tissues) and the log fold-change of the mean expression in the cancer type to mean expression in the normal tissue. The ρsurv column holds the Spearman rank correlation between normal tissue-specific gene weights and the signed log of the p-value from a Kaplan-Meir test of the association between gene expression and cancer survival as computed by Uhlen et al. [23]), which is computed as -log(p-value) for favorable genes and log(p-value) for unfavorable genes. The contents of this table are a synthesis of information from tables 2 and 3 in Frost [21].
