Comparative life cycle assessment of biodegradable PBAT vs HDPE films for animal carcass transport

This study evaluates the environmental impacts of biodegradable PBAT liners as an alternative to conventional HDPE liners for livestock carcass transport using a cradle-to-grave life cycle assessment. The results highlight the importance of production scale, transportation, and end-of-life management in determining the overall sustainability of biodegradable plastics.
