Simulations of overdispersed activity centres in spatially explicit capture-recapture

This repository holds the simulations described in: 

Efford MG, Fletcher D 2025. Effect of spatial overdispersion on confidence intervals for population density estimated by spatial capture-recapture. bioRxiv DOI: 10.1101/2024.03.12.584742

In addition to the files containing the simulation results in RData format ('sims1.RData' etc.) there is a vignette 'overdispsim-vignette.pdf' from the R package 'overdispsim' that shows in detail how these results were obtained, and a shorter R script 'figures.R' to reproduce the simulations and figures in the text.
