Basic Data Information Data Timeframe: The data is primarily concentrated between 2013 and 2019 Spatial Scope: China Data Type: Attribute tabular data Data Abstract Crime is a critical social, economic, and legal issue. This study presents an open-access spatiotemporal repository of street and neighborhood crime data, containing approximately 1 million crime records across China, with each record including specific geographic coordinates (latitude and longitude) and timestamps. This dataset is constructed based on publicly accessible court judgment documents. Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies are employed to extract crime events at the community and even building level from massive unstructured judicial texts. This dataset enables more precise spatial analysis of crime events, providing valuable insights for interdisciplinary fields such as economics, sociology, and geography. It makes important contributions to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly in promoting sustainable cities and communities, and plays a key role in advancing efforts to reduce all forms of violence and related mortality rates.
