XCTD data collected during the R/V Mirai MR24-06C cruise

This dataset includes the profiles of CTD measured by Expendable Conductivity-Temperature-Depth Profilers. We observed vertical profiles of sea water temperature and salinity measured by XCTD-1N probes manufactured by Tsurumi-Seiki Co. (TSK). The electric signal from the probe was converted by MK-150N (TSK), and was recorded by AL-12B software (Ver.1.6.4, TSK). We launched 81 probes by using the automatic launcher. The ranges and accuracies of parameters measured by the XCTD (eXpendable Conductivity, Temperature & Depth profiler) are as follows; Parameter Range Accuracy Conductivity 0 - 60 [mS/cm] +/- 0.03 [mS/cm] Temperature -2 - 35 [deg-C] +/- 0.02 [deg-C] Depth 0 - 1000 [m] 5 [m] or 2 [%] (either of them is major)本数据集包含由抛弃式温盐深剖面仪（Expendable Conductivity-Temperature-Depth Profilers，以下简称CTD）采集的剖面数据。本次观测采用鹤见精机株式会社（Tsurumi-Seiki Co.，简称TSK）生产的XCTD-1N型探头（eXpendable Conductivity, Temperature & Depth profiler，抛弃式温盐深剖面仪）采集海水温度与盐度的垂直剖面数据。探头输出的电信号经TSK公司生产的MK-150N型设备转换后，由TSK公司的AL-12B软件（版本1.6.4）完成记录。本次实验采用自动投放装置共投放81个探头。本次使用的XCTD（抛弃式温盐深剖面仪）所测参数的量程与精度如下： 参数类型 量程范围 精度指标 电导率 0~60 [毫西门子/厘米（mS/cm）] ±0.03 [mS/cm] 温度 -2~35 [摄氏度（deg-C）] ±0.02 [deg-C] 深度 0~1000 [米] 5米或2%（取两者中更为严苛的标准）
