Thinnest slice trims and cutouts only (12 minutes) for a medical film entitled “The thinnest slice” written and produced Daniel H. Chapman, directed by George Pratt, at the University of Southern California, 1949. Sample preparation and slicing on microtome. An unidentified sample is mounted on a block, sliced with the microtome, and prepared for viewing on a microscope. Film slate indicates: Name Chapman; Project P114; Rolls 305, 306, 309, 310, 311, 312. “Thinnest slice? (1)” -- container. 18 frames per second. 330.3 feet. Several trims/rolls, unlabeled; double perforation. Emulsion out. B&w, positive, MOS.
