Cold-Formed Steel Built-up Columns Database (CFS_BCDatabase)

The cold-formed steel built-up columns database (CFS_BCDatabase) includes results of axial compression tests of 907 CFS open and closed cross sections tested under various boundary conditions, material and sectional properties, fastener spacing, and failure modes. Design parameters such as elastic critical local, distortional, and global buckling loads, slenderness ratios, and results of Direct Strength Method (DSM) equations for each section are also computed and stored in the database. The database is to be used to assess the buckling strength curves of the DSM and modified DSM equations suggested by researchers. It can assist academics and practitioners in analysing, designing, and creating data-driven models of CFS built-up columns.
