This dataset consists of a single speaker and includes 5277 audio segments, with Swedish as the language of the audio content. The dataset was developed by Nordisk språkteknologi holding AS (NST), which went bankrupt in 2003. In 2006, the University of Oslo, University of Bergen, Norwegian University of Science and Technology, the Norwegian Language Council, and IBM jointly purchased the assets of NST to ensure the proper preservation of the language resources developed by the company. In 2011, these resources were transferred to the National Library of Norway and made available through the Language Bank.
