FRB: Benthic communities in the Gulf of St. Lawrence as surveyed in February 1962

As part of the sediment water interface program of the Atlantic Oceanographic Group a study of the distribution and ecology of benthic organisms was initiated in 1961 and in February of 1962 van Veen grab samples were collected during the CHS Baffin cruise (Peer 1963). Species distribution information associated with this study were digitized, standardized and republished as part of the Atlantic Coastal Zone Information Steering Committee (ACZISC) Atlantic Ecosystem Initiative (AEI) funded project “Atlantic Canada’s Biological Data for Ecosystem Planning and Decision-making” and OBIS Canada.1961年，大西洋海洋学小组（Atlantic Oceanographic Group）启动了一项针对底栖生物分布与生态的研究，作为其沉积物-水界面项目的组成部分；1962年2月，研究团队在CHS巴芬巡航期间（Peer，1963）采集了范恩采泥器（van Veen grab）样品。本研究关联的物种分布信息经数字化与标准化处理后，作为大西洋海岸带信息指导委员会（Atlantic Coastal Zone Information Steering Committee, ACZISC）大西洋生态系统倡议（Atlantic Ecosystem Initiative, AEI）资助项目“大西洋加拿大生态规划与决策用生物数据”以及加拿大海洋生物地理信息系统（OBIS Canada）的组成部分重新发布。
