VRWalking
The VRWalking Dataset was developed by The University of Texas at San Antonio for research on motion sickness, working memory, mental workload, physiological workload, and attention among users performing real walking tasks within virtual reality (VR) environments. This dataset contains head orientation, head position, eye-tracking data, captured images, physiological sensor readings, as well as self-reported severity of motion sickness, physiological workload and mental workload from 36 participants during their maze navigation tasks in a VR environment. The dataset was constructed by having participants walk in a physical environment to navigate a virtual counterpart, while completing tasks that impose challenges on their attention and working memory. Potential applications of this dataset include the development of motion sickness detection and mitigation models, as well as research into the correlation between motion sickness and cognitive load, with the goal of addressing challenges related to cognitive load management and motion sickness minimization in VR development.
