ACTGOV Urban Open Space Asset

This polygon dataset shows the location of land owned or managed by City and Environment (CED), Place Management as part of the urban open space estate in the Australian Capital Territory. Data shows operational areas and should not be used to define legal boundaries. This dataset does not represent the PRZ1 Urban Open Zones as defined in the ACT Territory Plan 2008. These assets are maintained by City Services, CED. Attributes include asset name, location description, suburb, ownership, maintained by, asset sub-type (Community Recreational Irrigated Park, CRIP, District Park, Laneway, Learn to Ride Facility, Native Grassland Site, Neighbourhood Park, Pedestrian Parkland, Road Median, Road Verge, Semi Natural Open Space, Town Park, Urban Pedestrianised Area), road name, gazetted name, Territory Plan zone, land management category (Lakes ponds and waterways, native grassland/woodland, neighbourhood parks pedestrian parkland and laneways, road verges median strips, semi-natural open space, town and district parks, stormwater drainage and floodways, sportsgrounds and recreation, private land, national land), plan reference, consolidation date, expected handover date, handover date, land area. These assets are captured and maintained in the asset database through the works as executed (WAE) handover process or in response to boundary or land use changes.
