Canadian Gallup Poll, May 1994

This Gallup poll seeks the opinions of Canadians, on predominantly political and social issues. The questions ask opinions on the past election, Jean Chretien, Lucien Bouchard, Preston Manning, the economy, and crime. There are also questions on other topics of interest such as the ownership and use of firearms, the origin of human beings, the treatment of criminals by public institutions, and perceptions of violent crime rates. The respondents were also asked questions so that they could be grouped according to geographic, political and social variables.
