VPRS 16372 Nurse Practitioner Advisory Committee / Prescribing Practice Advisory Committee

The Nurse Practitioner Advisory Committee was established by the Nurses (Amendment) Act 2000 (No. 94/2000) on 21 February 2002. The name was changed to the Prescribing Practice Advisory Committee in Aug/Sep 2007. The Committee provided advice to the Board on the implementation of the Nurse Practitioner role, developed draft policy for the Board on endorsement, standards of practice and accredition of nurse practitioner courses.
