资源简介:
This study examines the similarities and differences between English and Arabic sentence structures from a comparative linguistic perspective. The research focuses on the grammatical organization of sentences, including word order, nominal and verbal sentence patterns, negation, and question formation. English generally follows a fixed Subject–Verb–Object structure, whereas Arabic demonstrates greater flexibility through both Verb–Subject–Object and Subject–Verb–Object patterns. The study also discusses the challenges these structural differences create in translation and foreign language learning. Through comparative analysis, the research aims to provide a clearer understanding of the syntactic systems of both languages and their role in effective communication.
