This dataset contains German and Czech names for nearly 5,000 locations across the Czech Republic. Numerous associations exist between these names: some German names are literal translations of their Czech counterparts (or vice versa), some are phonetic modifications, while others remain entirely unrelated. This dataset was generated from lists of German loanwords for locations in the Czech Republic sourced from English Wikipedia pages.
