Decoding Household Food Waste: Understanding Consumer Behaviours for Intervention Design - COM-B dimension validation results

A Delphi survey was conducted to validate the categorisation of HFW reasons under the COM-B dimensions. Reasons marked in green or yellow reflected the majority agreement with the authors’ initial categorisation and therefore required no further review. In contrast, reasons highlighted in red signalled areas of disagreement among participants. These cases were subjected to re-evaluation to determine whether reclassification was warranted or if the original categorisation could be justified and retained following a more in-depth analysis.
