Replication Data for \"A simple model of the climate states of Earth-like terrestrial planets\"
收藏资源简介:
Steady-state climates of terrestrial planets must be in radiative energy balance: absorbed sunlight and thermal emission equal on a global average. The simplest models that investigate radiative energy balance are zero-dimensional energy balance models (0-D EBM), in which planetary surface mean temperatures can be calculated simply from parametrized radiative fluxes. In \"A simple model of the climate states of Earth-like terrestrial planets\" we base these radiative flux parameterizations on 1-D radiative transfer calculations for Earth-like atmospheres, with an empirically-based parametrization of atmospheric humidity which permits a non-linear moistening process. The data at hand contain the surface temperature dependent outgoing longwave radiation calculations, and the determined atmospheric transmittance and reflectivity for the shortwave radiation wave bands.
