Czech Household Panel Survey, wave 1 (2015) – contact forms

The dataset contains records from the contact forms used in the respective wave of the Czech Household Panel Survey. Interviewers used the contact forms to record the times and results of their attempts to contact the panel households. <br> <br> The Czech Household Panel Survey (CHPS) is a survey that repeatedly interviews a representative sample of households living in the Czech Republic. Between 2015 and 2019, five waves with annual intervals were fielded. In 2020 and 2021, two smaller data collections focused on the covid-19 pandemic occurred. From 2023 to 2024, a new regular (sixth) wave was undertaken. CHPS is an interdisciplinary study using insights from sociology, economics, and political science. From 2015 to 2018, the study focused on five main thematic areas: Family life, time use, health; Education and the labour market; Social stratification; Housing; Political participation and civil society. <br> <br> The first wave's sample of households was constructed using probability (random) sampling to be representative of the Czech Republic's household population. In the next waves, households that took part in the previous year were asked to participate. All household members in the target age range were invited to complete the questionnaires.
