CRSP

CRSP (Center for Research in Security Prices) is a financial database affiliated with the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Founded in 1965, it was the first financial market database in the United States. It primarily collects historical data including stock prices, returns, trading volumes and other relevant metrics of listed companies on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE), American Stock Exchange (AMEX) and NASDAQ since 1926. In 2026, this center was acquired by Morningstar, Inc.
