INTEGRATING CORPUS-BASED APPROACH IN TEACHING GRAMMAR

This article discusses a grammar project for A2–B1 level secondary school English learners. It emphasizes the selection, adaptation, and presentation of grammatical structures via academic sources, corpus-based evidence, and learner-centered activities. The research emphasizes six grammatical domains: countable and uncountable nouns, the past continuous tense, articles, modal verbs, the passive voice, and relative clauses. It illustrates effective teaching methods through visual aids, authentic examples, and communicative tasks. The paper also talks about how important it is to find a balance between teaching grammar with a focus on form and meaning, using noticing techniques, and using technology to help students learn grammar. In general, it stresses a unified way of teaching grammar that helps both accuracy and the ability to communicate.
