Energy consumption & Capacity of India (1965-2022)

The hypothesis of the study is whether India could achieve its Renewable energy targets by 2030 or not. The data consists of Total energy consumption, Renewable energy consumption and Renewable energy capacity of India over a period of 58 years (1965 - 2022). The RE Capacity data was derived from REC data using adequate conversion techniques. The results of the study showed that if the current trend of growth rate follows in the future, then reaching the target is quite impossible for India.本研究的核心假设为：印度能否在2030年前实现其可再生能源（Renewable Energy）目标。本数据集涵盖1965年至2022年共58年间印度的总能源消费量、可再生能源消费量以及可再生能源装机容量数据。其中可再生能源装机容量数据系通过适当的转换技术由REC数据衍生得到。本研究结果显示，若未来延续当前的增长速率趋势，印度将几乎无法达成该目标。
