Experimental evolution of Pseudomonas fluorescens in different biotic environments on cheese

A strain of Pseudomonas flourescens (Lp) was evolved on a cheese medium in the lab in different biotic environments (alone, with the fungus Geotrichum candidum, and with the fungus Penicillium camemberti). At the end of the experiment, colonies were isolated from replicate experimental populations (1-10 for alone, 11-20 for + Geotrichum, and 21-30 for + Penicillium), sequencing using whole genome sequencing, and mapped to a reference genome of the ancestor to identify mutations in evolved isolates.
