The transcriptomes of single cells from human bone marrow were investigated at single cell level, with the aim to reconstruct the development of human dendritic cell (DC) lineages. Overall design: 266 single cell transcriptomes were sampled from CD34med/- pre-DC and mature DC populations of bone marrow and isolated into 96 well plates via fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS).
