Sterculia lanceolata RNA-seq transcriptome analysis

Sterculia lanceolata, generally known as tropical chestnuts, belongs to a subfamily Sterculioidae of the family Malvaceae. Most members of the genus Sterculia have valuable characteristics for industrial or pharmaceutical purposes, but its genomic studies have been studied poorly likely in part due to lack of genomic information. In this study, Sterculia lanceolata, a member of the genus Sterculia, was used for RNA-seq whole transcriptome analysis to provide genomic resources for genomic and other related studies of the genus Sterculia.
