This series consists of the papers of the Government Trading Enterprise (GTE) Reform Committee. The papers include correspondence, briefings and meeting papers.The GTE Reform Unit was a centralised unit within the Premier's Department that was established following the NSW Government enacted the State Owned Corporations (SOC) Act (1989) to provide a single legislated model for corporatisations, in addition to establishing the Government Pricing Tribunal to regulate the prices of the natural monopolies. The GTE Reform Committee was formed to direct and facilitate the reform process.
