Putative hyperparasites of Puccinia spp.

This studies goal was to isolate different hyperparasites (parasites of parasites) from Puccinia spp. that was infecting cereal, willow and poplar plants. These fungal isolates may have the capability to prevent or control rust diseases in agricultural crops or plantations and are therefore are of interest for biocontrol; or for the future investigation into any produced antifungal natural products.
