Stamped jar fragment from Calatrava la Vieja, Castilla-La Mancha, Spain. Islamic almohad period (1195-1212 CE). This artifact was found in the 2009 excavations in the south-east sector of the medina, next to the western wall of the alcázar. During the almohad period in al-Andalus, the use of jars for the filtration of water became widespread. These kind of vessels were commonly decorated with printed stamps. In this case, with geometric and epigraphic motifs. Catalog No. 09 26 889 36. Processed and modeled in Reality Capture from 147 photos.
