Physical, biogeochemical and biological data from Masfjorden, Lurefjorden and neighboring fjords in Vestland, Norway
收藏资源简介:
We gather physical, biogeochemical, and biological data collected in Masfjorden, Lurefjorden, and neighboring fjords in Vestland, Norway, during cruises organized by the Institute of Marin Research and the University of Bergen. Data sets comprise, for example, profiles of salinity, temperature, oxygen, and (uncalibrated) fluorescence, concentrations of Dissolved Inorganic Carbon, Total Alkalinity, Nutrients, and Dissolved Oxygen at selected depths and station, mooring records (hydrography and currents) from sills and basins. The biological data consists of bottom trawl hauls with length mesurements of fish, community data from pelagic trawl catches using both Multi-Sampler (3 cod-ends) and 1 standard cod-end on pelagic trawls, and zooplankton data from multinet. Length data are included for sub-samples of mesopelagic fish and crustaceans captured and for all large fish and sub-samples of P. periphylla. The research is supported by the Norwegian Research Council through the projects HyponFjordFish (301077) and FJO2RD (323986) and by the Bjerknes centre through CLIFORD.
