Additional file 1: 7-times seven-fold CV results. We present an extended version of Table 1 and Table 2. For each rat, we performed 7-times seven-fold cross validation. Correlation Coefficient (r) and Coefficient of Determination ( $$R^{2}$$ R 2 ) of PLS and LSTM-based network are reported. For all rats, LSTM-based network shows significantly higher (r) and ( $$R^{2}$$ R 2 ) values.
