Devon Historic Landscape Characterisation (HLC)

Historic Landscape Characterisation was completed for Devon in order to record and understand the wider historic landscape of the county. The project was undertaken by Devon County Council and English Heritage, and supported by Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty Service and Dartmoor National Park Authority. Carried out between July 2001 and December 2004, the project was undertaken to understand and map the landscape that we see today with reference to its historical development, and to be used for landscape management and research.英国德文郡（Devon）已完成历史景观特征评估（Historic Landscape Characterisation）工作，旨在全面记录并深入认知该郡全域的历史景观风貌。该项目由德文郡议会与英格兰遗产委员会（English Heritage）牵头开展，并获得塔玛谷杰出自然美景区管理处及达特穆尔国家公园管理局的支持。本项目实施周期为2001年7月至2004年12月，核心目标是结合历史发展脉络，梳理并绘制当前可见景观的风貌图谱，同时可为景观管理与学术研究提供支撑。
