Casco Bay Estuary Partnership Monitoring Programs
收藏资源简介:
Casco Bay Estuary Partnership is working to protect and restore the Casco Bay ecosystem and watershed while sustaining compatible human uses. The stakeholder-developed "Casco Bay Plan" that guides CBEP's work focuses on five priorities: stormwater, toxics, habitat conservation, shellfish beds and swimming beaches, and stewardship. CBEP monitors numerous indicators of the health of the Bay and watershed. A "State of the Bay 2005" report summarizes over a decade of monitoring data for fourteen different indicators including water quality both in the Bay and watershed, impervious surface, combined sewer overflows, shellfish beds, swimming beaches, protected lands, undeveloped lands, waterbirds, eelgrass, sediments, mussels, population, and stewardship. Type: Estuary Waterbody or Watershed Names: Casco Bay
