Data-set for Lachlan et al. 2018

Database of measured swamp sparrow (Melospiza georgiana) songs from six populations of swamp sparrows.<br>Database is in Luscinia format (https://rflachlan.github.io/Luscinia/, version 2.17.11.22.01). To access: download/install Luscinia (jar file attached); download the file lusciniaproperties (and place it in the same directory as Luscinia.jar). Download/unzip the database; open Luscinia, use "Find" to locate SwampSparrow.luscdb file, and Log-In.<br>Details of recording methods found in database.<br>The output of song analysis is included.To run song analysis as in paper:(1) Select Analysis from the main menu.(2) Load Scheme "ConformistPaperAll"(3) Select "Select one syllable per phrase"(4) Click Next Step; Select Computer Comparison By Time Warping; Select Next Step again.(5) Correct DTW preferences should have been loaded if lusciniaproperties was downloaded. If not, please see manuscript. Click NextStep to run analysis.(6) Select Dendrogram (Options: use raw dissimilarity matrix; UPGMA) and Geographical Analysis (Options: Level to compare: Populations). Select By Syllable under Units to Analyze. Click Next Step.(7) Export data from dendrogram (Validation stats; Classification stats) and geographic analysis tabs to spreadsheet format.<br>The output of the ABC analysis of song frequencies is to be found in the ConformityModelResults160 folder (along with ReadMe).<br>六种沼泽麻雀（Melospiza georgiana）种群的实测鸣唱数据库。本数据库采用Luscinia格式（https://rflachlan.github.io/Luscinia/，版本2.17.11.22.01）。获取方式如下：下载并安装Luscinia（附带jar文件）；下载lusciniaproperties文件并将其放置在与Luscinia.jar相同的目录下。下载并解压本数据库；打开Luscinia软件，使用“查找”功能定位SwampSparrow.luscdb文件，完成登录。录音方法的详细说明已收录于本数据库中。本数据库包含鸣唱分析的输出结果。若需复现论文中的鸣唱分析流程，请按以下步骤操作：(1) 从主菜单中选择“分析”选项；(2) 加载名为ConformistPaperAll的分析方案；(3) 选择“每个短语选取一个音节”；(4) 点击“下一步”，选择“基于时间规整的计算机比对”，再次点击“下一步”；(5) 若已正确下载lusciniaproperties文件，将自动加载正确的动态时间规整（Dynamic Time Warping，DTW）参数；若未加载，请参阅研究手稿。点击“下一步”启动分析；(6) 选择“树状图”（可选参数：使用原始相异矩阵；UPGMA聚类法）与“地理分析”（可选参数：比对层级：种群），在“分析单元”下选择“按音节”，随后点击“下一步”；(7) 从树状图（验证统计量；分类统计量）与地理分析标签页中导出数据至电子表格格式。鸣唱频率的ABC分析结果可在ConformityModelResults160文件夹中获取，该文件夹附带ReadMe说明文件。
