Digital Archive from an Archaeological Strip, Map and Sample Excavation at Lockington Farm, Church Road, Totternhoe, Dunstable, Central Bedfordshire 2019

This digital archive contains images, CAD, spreadsheet, site record and report data from a programme of Archaeological Strip, Map and Sample excavation at Lockington Farm, Church Road, Totternhoe, Bedfordshire, prior to the construction of two detached 4 bedroom houses and the conversion of an existing barn. The work was undertaken in September 2019 by KDK Archaeology Ltd. The excavation revealed a series of cut features within the development area. Associated artefactual remains include residual Roman ceramic building material and pottery, and medieval to early post-medieval ceramic building material and pottery. The ditches, gullies, and linears probably provided local land drainage, with some, particularly the larger cut features probably demarcating land boundaries.
