Spin Dynamics Study in a Distorted Triangular Lattice System lambda-(STF)2GaCl4
收藏资源简介:
Research on quantum spin liquid (QSL) state in frustrated magnetism is a critical issue in the field of condensed matter physics and some candidates for QSL have been found in organic conductors. It is still open question what plays essential for the QSL and nearby superconducting state, the frustration or disorder. To settle this discussion, we focused on the new candidate of QSL, λ-(STF)2GaCl4, whose lattice geometry is deviated from the regular triangular lattice. In the previous beamtime, we used Heliox and observed the homogeneous staggered moment growth at low temperature, however, we cannot observe its temperature dependence towards absolute zero. By clarifying the spin dynamics of this material through this proposed experiments using the dilution refrigerator, it will lead to an understanding of QSL and the elucidation of the origin of nearby superconducting phases.
