DIATPOOL Repository

This repository contains the three datasets associated with the paper “A trait database for the characterization of diatom communities in disconnected pools”. DIATPOOL.xlsx: database containing information on 17 traits (8 morphological, 7 ecological, and 2 physiological) for 385 diatom species recorded in disconnected freshwater pools. Abundance_diatoms.xlsx: matrix of relative abundances for the 385 diatom species across 66 sampled disconnected pools. Metadata_pools.xlsx: environmental dataset containing geographical, physicochemical, ecological quality, and habitat descriptors for the 66 study disconnected pools.
