Dataset for the Paper: "Adapting to Survive or Thrive? Strategic Responses of Voluntary Sustainability Standards to Due Diligence Regulations"

This repository contains the dataset from the secondary data collection conducted for our research investigating how voluntary sustainability standards (VSS) respond to the rise of sustainable supply chain due diligence regulations. 

Due to confidentiality constraints, we do not include data from the preliminary data collection in this dataset.

This repository contains all documents collected from the following 13 VSS that were the subjects of this study: 4C, the Better Cotton Initiative, Bonsucro, Fairtrade International, FSC, GlobalGAP, GOTS, GRSB, the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification, ProTerra, Rainforest Alliance, RSPO, and the Round Table on Responsible Soy. 

The documents are shared as raw, uncoded data. Coding was conducted separately using MAXQDA, based on our codebook.

The documentation is organized into ZIP files by VSS.
