This dataset mainly includes relevant patents for miniature electric fan products in Taizhou. The patent data is evaluated using a proprietary algorithm, which enables horizontal and vertical analysis of the changes in patent data of Taizhou's miniature electric fan industry, and helps understand the intellectual property (IP) achievements of miniature electric fan products. Through the evaluation of existing patent values, it can help enterprises carry out patent protection in advance. Additionally, it allows insights into the technological development trends of miniature electric fan products, assisting enterprises in avoiding redundant R&D and infringing on others' intellectual property rights with their developed technologies. 1. Data Collection: Relevant patent data of miniature electric fan products in Taizhou, including the counts of invention patents, utility model patents, and design patents, was collected via third-party intellectual property retrieval websites. 2. Data Processing: The collected raw data was processed, cleaned and categorized by removing duplicate and incomplete records. 3. Data Calculation: Patent value assessment is conducted from five dimensions: technical, legal, market, strategic and economic. - Technical value: Number of citations by examiners, number of patent citation countries, number of cited non-patent literatures, number of cited patents, number of IPC sections, number of IPC subclasses; - Legal value: Number of independent claims, number of words in the independent claim, reexamination decisions, number of claims, number of pages in the specification, number of filing countries, PCT international applications, remaining patent validity term; - Market value: Number of patent families, remaining valid period; - Strategic value: Standard-essential patents, patent awards received; - Economic value: Number of transfers, number of licenses, number of pledges. The patent value evaluation model adopts the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), a subjective weighting method, to subjectively determine the weights of each indicator. The patent score is calculated as: Patent Score = Σ (each indicator value across the five dimensions × corresponding weight). The IFS function is used to determine the patent value level: Patent Value Level = IFS(Patent Score>45, "Ultra-high value patent", Patent Score>20, "High-value patent", Patent Score>10, "Medium-value patent", Patent Score>0, "Low-value patent"). This dataset provides priority references for R&D decision-making and technology infringement avoidance for technicians in this field.
