HBV vaccination booster doses seroprotective

From 2012-2015, college students born after 1986 who entered a university in northern Taiwan from 2002 to 2011 were invited to participate in this study upon completion of their health examination for graduate school entrance. All recruited participants signed informed consent and had their HBsAg, anti-HBs, and anti-HBc serum levels determined by ELISA (chemiluminescent immunoassay conducted using the architect system AxSYM from Abbott Diagnostic Services, USA) at their university entry health examination. The study participants had their HBsAg, anti-HBs, and anti-HBc serum levels re-measured when they entered graduate school during an average 4-year follow-up period.
