Human milk bacterial and viral microbiota composition according to the delivery mode and also gestational age
收藏资源简介:
This study includes 88 samples from 44 mothers. There were two samples from each mother (first one 7 days of baby life and the second one at 45 days of life). There were 5 groups:1- Normal delivery term newborns: 16 milk samples from 8 mothers2- Preterm delivery group: 26 milk samples from 13 mothers3- Caesarean section delivery: 18 milk samples from 9 mothers4- Small for gestational age babies: 14 milk samples from 7 mothers5- Large for gestational ages babies: 14 milk samples from 7 mothersThe aim was the comparison of these groups (e.g normal delivery vs. C/S delivery) and also the microbiota composition changes between day 7 and day 45 for each human milk sample. For all samples, the metagenomic analysis of the bacterial communities was carried out using the Illumina NextSeq with 150 bp x2 chemistry.
