MS2-affinity purification coupled with RNA sequencing (MAPS) reveals S. suis rss03 sRNA targetome

Streptococcus suis is a Gram-positive pathogen causing septicemia and meningitis in pigs and humans. However, how S. suis maintains a high bacterial load in the blood and brain is poorly understood. We previously found that sRNA rss03 promotes S. suis survival in pig blood and enhances S. suis virulence. However, its targets are unknown.
