This dataset investigates the role of gut microbiota in the response of Lymantria dispar larvae to pathogenic fungi. 16S-Miseq sequencing was utilized to detect the significant changes in the structure and abundance of gut microbiota in 5th-instar Lymantria dispar larvae at 24, 48, and 72 hours post-infection with Beauveria bassiana. The dataset contains 960,000 gut microbial sequencing reads, with a total data volume of 3.29 G.
