Party democracy survey, 1985 - Elite

One purpose of this study was to obtain more systematic knowledge about Norwegian political parties. This in particular applies to the political parties organizational structure, their staff and the question of how parties work towards their political views, in other words the actual decision making process. The project is therefore designed both to encourage new knowledge and to systematize existing knowledge that illuminates the political parties role and place in the Norwegian political system. All the political parties represented in the Storting in the period 1981-85 was in October 1983 asked to participate in the survey.
