收藏资源简介:
This study updates the carbon emission data to 2024 and expands the spatial coverage from the original 48 high-emission cities to 334 prefecture-level and above cities across China. The goal is to provide more cities with near-real-time carbon emission information to support the formulation and adjustment of their short-term climate and energy policies. The CMCC dataset provides daily CO₂ emission estimates from 2019 to 2024, disaggregated into five key sectors: power generation, residential, industry, ground transportation, and aviation. As a near-real-time dataset, CMCC substantially improves both the temporal resolution and the update frequency of China's urban carbon emission inventories, covering 344 prefecture-level and above cities in mainland China (excluding Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan). The total annual uncertainty of the CMCC dataset is estimated to be 9.3%, based on comparisons with widely used inventories such as CM-China, MEIC, and CHRED.
