To show endosymbiotic bacteria of the bore louse Hematopinus apri and the pig louse H. suis, amplicon sequences of hypervariable 16S rRNA gene V3/V4 regions was read by Illumina Miseq. DNA was extracted from whole body of an adult louse using DNeasy Blood and Tissue kit.
