These registers serve as in index to the writs or orders affecting land issued by any Court for the purpose of enforcing a judgement, order, statute of recognizance. A writ or order must be registered before the related charge can be enforced and thus recorded in the register. These volumes specifically reference sequestration and discharge orders, and deeds of arrangement. The registers are arranged alphabetically by the surnames of those whose lands were affected. Details recorded include: the associated number, date of registration, address and description of the person affected, and any particulars.
