Self-harm prevalence data among patients arriving to the emergency services of a children's psychiatric hospital during a 58 month period, spanning pre-pandemic, pandemic and post-pandemic months (March 2019 to December 2023)

The item contains the total number of patients with self-harm and the total number of patients arriving at the emergency services of a children's psychiatric hospital during a 58 month period, spanning pre COVID-19 pandemic, -COVID-19 pandemic and post COVID-19 pandemic months (March 2019 to December 2023). Rates are calculated by diving the self-harm cases over all cases. Cases per month are unique individuals. Cases are also divided by sex. This can be loaded and ran in R after obtaining permission (https://surveillance.cancer.gov/joinpoint/) and installing the NIH joint-point analysis package (https://github.com/DanChaltiel/nih.joinpoint) so it can be ran from the command line. Code is also attached.
