This RNAseq data is to support the Drosophila rhopaloa genome project at Baylor College of Medicine Human genome Sequencing Center, to provide comparative sequencing data for the identification of functional DNA elements in the D.melanogaster genome. This transcriptome data will be used to annotate gene models in Drosophila rhopaloa to aid the comparisons. This part of the larger modENCODE comparative genome project.
